Maria Jose on the Cover of Maxim

This Bing hoopla has got me curious so I visited the site and did a vanity search. Presenting Maria Jose on Maxim... I is hot and sexeh, yes? Unfortunately, that's not me. LOL! Obviously! I'm hotter and sexier than that. Ang pumalag pangit. :P There's too many Maria Jose's in the world and I'm glad at least two of us are hawt. On the other hand, 9 out of the top 10 search results for "Ria Jose" yielded links to me, my blogs, or my social networking profiles. YEY TO ME! How's your Bing vanity search going?

Here's To The Crazy Ones

Here's to the crazy ones... Here's to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in square holes, the ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules, and they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify, or vilify them, but the only thing you can't do is ignore them because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do. Nice, moving ad, don't you think? I can definitely relate. The irony of it though is how majority of the people who use Mac products are not the crazy ones in the wise, forward-thinking way anymore. They buy Mac precisely because it's the "in" thing... and they're only crazy because they buy expensive stuff when there are cheaper versions by other brands. Nonetheless, I like the ad, and I'd like to have an Apple iPod and a Mac Book. :P And yeah, I hope I get one idea crazy enough to change the world, and…

A Whole New World

After I attended a two-day bread making class at the Center for Asian Culinary Studies, I found acquired an appreciation for chefs, and their work. I especially admired Chef Jun-jun who generously and most patiently shared his knowledge with baking newbies me and Kuya Andrew. That is why I am happy to see him now... online... as a blogger! Chef Jun-jun de Guzman, a teacher at the CACS now has his very own blog entitled Chefie's World. While he already has columns in a daily and some food magazines, Chef Jun-jun has always been interested in blogging. Through Chefie's World, Chef Jun-jun would like to share some tidbits about himself, personal experiences with food, in the kitchen, and around the world. He is also ready to take your culinary questions and inquiries. And explore the art and science behind cooking and baking. So head on over to http://www.chefjunjun.com and taste a whole new world of culinary experiences.
