This month, I am holding my first Blogging 101 Workshop in a while. This is my third workshop this year and the first one that is open to the public.
The Blogging 101 Workshop is for students, professionals, freelancers… anybody who wish to start their own blog. If you have a blog and want to know how to plan for and move forward with your blog, you are also welcome to join. The workshop will tackle the basics including how to setup your own blog if you do not have one yet. And how to create content.
The Blogging 101 Workshop is moved to October 2019 and the final date and venue will be announced soon.
Workshop Information
The workshop will have 2 parts: Introduction and Basic Setup in the morning, and Content Planning and Writing in the afternoon.
The morning session, Introduction and Setup is designed for those who have no blog yet. The session will guide you setup your first blog. This session requires participants to bring their own laptop or tablet that can be used to setup their blog. At the end of the session, each participant will have their own blog published and ready for content.
The afternoon session will focus on Content Planning and Writing. It is designed for those who have already setup their own blog. It will cover how to plan for and create content. Laptops and tablets are not required by highly recommended. Participants with reserved slots will receive worksheets and instruction after paying the fee. These worksheet must be answered before the workshop day. At the end of the session, participants are expected to have a draft plan for their content.
Each session is priced at P500 with free flowing coffee, tea, and water. The fee for the entire workshop, morning and afternoon sessions, is only P900. Slots are limited to a maximum of 15 and those who register for the whole day workshop will be given priority.
About the Speaker
I, Ria Jose, will be facilitating the workshop along with a few assistants. I have been a blogger for more than 10 years. Social Media Strategist, Content Manager and Writer, newspaper columnist, and magazine contributor are some of the jobs I have taken on over the years. I have also studied education in college and have received training to be a workshop facilitator and trainer.
