I did not type in the entire blog title because well, I just did not want to. I want to start off this series with a feature on one of the blogs I really enjoy ready. And because for the remaining weeks of March, I will be featuring women. (Like there’s a lot more Fridays left in March.) My introduction has been too long now so let me proceed to what this is really about. I will be featuring blogs, video channels, social media accounts, online series, and other stuff online you should follow. I do not know if people still do Follow Friday but I wanna so I’m gonna. And my first #FollowFriday feature is the blog Life is so Full of… (sarwriters.com) by Sarah Andres.
Sarah is my top pick for bloggers to follow simply because she writes so well. I wrote a feature on her last year. She was one of the finalists for Davao Blogger of the Year and I quote myself:
She rarely speaks but when she does, she does so with conviction. Be it in her blogs or in her personal online spaces, Sarah shares her opinions and ideas clearly and with levity. But also always with wit and humor. Whether you agree with her or not, you are always encouraged to read her thoughts and enjoy the experience. Her writing is impeccable, always profound but also relatable.

The way she writes is how I aspire to write. It seems like every time I read her blog, I am simply talking to her. Straight to the point but never boring. She writes beautifully. Her blog posts are always simple but never plain. She makes everything interesting and relatable. In fact, she has received multiple awards for her blog and have won blog writing competitions.
Sarah works online… I am not really sure what her job title is but one of the things she does in web development. And she is a damn good one. She loves to travel and enjoys mountain climbing and other outdoor adventures. Currently, she is serving Davao Bloggers Society as our Vice-President for External Affairs.
Stuff Sar Writes
One of the more interesting things she has been writing about lately is her wedding diaries. She is a frugal bride to be and her cost-saving tips and DIYs are interesting. You see, Sarah is also an artist. Check out her DIY bouquet.
I have never seen a more beautiful bouquet of plastic flowers. Read all about it at this link.
As I have mentioned, Sarah loves to travel. And she shares snippets about her road trips, overseas travels, and other adventures on her blog. Her travel posts are engaging. She rarely shares much details, itineraries, or the usual how to travel guides. Sarah blogs about her travels in a personal manner. And along the way, we also get nuggets of wisdom and insights.
“…everything else feels surreal. And I am certain, that’s what motivates us to travel far and wide no matter how stressful it gets.”
-A Dahilayan Escapade, Link
Sarah also blogs about a range of topics: beauty, style, parenting. She always does it in a way that makes you want to read more and know more.
Why Life is So Full of…
Frankly, I do not know the exact reason why Sarah titled her blog as such. Her blog’s subtitle is “‘Eeew, Ang Baho! And other Tales of Incessant Whining.” I have not gone sa far back in her archives to confirm if she indeed started her blog with whines and rants. She probably did. As with so many other personal bloggers do.
But do not be turned off. Her posts may not exactly be full of sunshine, but there is nothing sh*tty about it. And there has not been annoying incessant whining lately.
What remains is a balanced view of life. And I could not say this enough… full of wit and humor.
