I saw two trailers of Muli (The Affair) by awarded indie filmmaker, Adolf Alix featuring Sid Lucero and Cogie Domingo. It's about two men falling in love and about how their love story transpires through time. I have not seen the film, and some people might be iffy to watch it. International NKYR Academy for Massage Therapists
Early this month, the Internation NKYR Academy (INA) had their press conference in Davao City. While they don't have an institution in Mindanao yet, they held the press conference in a bid to promote better awareness of their facilities and programs. The INA was established to answer the need for DOH Accredited institutions for training massage therapists. Every massage clinic is required to have a licensed massage therapist. And INA is one of few institutions in the country that offers training for therapists who are vying for a license. To expand their reach, INA has opened a branch at Cebu City to answer the need for a training center in the Visayas and Mindanao areas. Podcast 5: Why Geeks Make Good Lovers
Since high school, I have already been surrounded by geeks. Went to a geeky high school. Took up a geeky course in college. Now working with geeky people in a very geeky industry. I do find geeks attractive. Even as a kid, I wanted to meet and date a guy with an IQ higher than mine. And I find smart guys fascinating, engaging, and interesting. I recently blogged that I am attracted to lawyers and engineers because I find them to be smart and geeky enough for me. But what exactly makes geeks good lovers? Do other people also find them attractive? I turned to two blog posts from Awkward Things I Say to Girls and from Wired by Regina Lynn as references to discuss why geeks would make good lovers. Wanted: Lawyer, Engineer, or Basketball Player
If you have been reading this blog, listening to my podcasts, and following me in micro blogs and SNS, you probably know a lot about me already. I am single. Not actively seeking for a boyfriend, but hoping for a new adventure. I am not looking for anybody specific, but somebody I can spend days and night conversing with. Somebody interesting and willing to do stuff together, go to new places, experience new things. Somebody who will encourage and inspire me to do better. Somebody I can nurture and take care of. Three years ago, I wrote a list of qualifications for the guy(s) I would date or be in a relationship with. Back then I have not had any boyfriends or ex-es, only almost and not quite relationships. Some of those items in the list have changed, some remain true til this day. Right now, I have a special place in my heart for guys in these three professions: lawyers, engineers, and basketball players. Lawyers are usually great speakers and decent writers who are interested (or at least obliged to know about) current events and the news.
