I don’t think my body has quite recovered from the epic legend that was the Davao Food Appreciation Tour 2010. It was THREE WHOLE DAYS OF EATING! :-&
And as if that’s not bad enough for my quest for a sexy body, I spend a lot of time with my blogger friends and cousins who love to eat. Undeniably, I love to eat too. So when they invite to eat maki rolls and frozen yoghurt at 10 pm, I go with them with little protest.
And to make things worse, I went to Cebu last weekend. It was a work-related trip peppered with too much eating. I ate tons of Crispy Pata and some Taba ng Talangka among other things. SUE ME! I almost went wild when I saw there was Starbucks and Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, but quickly realized I can’t have coffee this May. So I drank tons of iced and ice-blended chocolate instead. FAIIIIL!
I ATE A LOT! IN A MONTH! BUUUUUUUSHIIIIIIIIT!
And I’m about to take another eating tour again. This weekend. In Davao, General Santos, and Lake Sebu. Yes, that’s three places. HOLY MOLEY! I’m gonna have a 38 waistline again. NOOOOO!
In order to prepare for this mega tour, I am embarking on a 5 DAY DIET CHALLENGE! Rawrrr… Here’s what I’ll do:
- No rice. No pasta. No noodles. No potatoes.
- No softdrinks.
- No beer and other alcoholic drinks.
Believe me, it’s not gonna be easy for me. I will do this from today, May 24, 2010, until Friday, May 28, 2010.
Friends, bantayan niyo ako ha. 😛
WISH ME LUCK! 😉
I think as long as you eat enough fiber, drink enough water, and keep moving every day, your metabolism should be able to handle all the food you eat. 🙂 Enjoy food, Ria! It’s God’s gift! (LOL Panira ba ng diet?)
haaay …how do we solve a problem like ria?
Sarah, LOL! It’s just for five days. I need more fruits I think.
Nik, you don’t solve it. You embrace the Ria-ness of Ria. 😛
Kontra talaga ako sa No Coffee haha 😛
Mica, OO NGA! 😛
Go girl!!! Don’t think I could survive without rice, even for a week. Kwento…
Gay, sobrang good luck! I have tried no rice for an entire month and no soda for an entire month. But not all those prohibitions all at the same time. It’s just 5 days anyway. 😉
