It Took a Village

...to make this happen! Photo courtesy of Christian Te It's no secret that I'm a big sissy who is super afraid of heights. And I am definitely not an adventurous girl. So when it was my turn to ride the Outland Adventure Xcelerator last January, I begged off as I was too scared to go to the edge of the jump off point. SAD! But I promised my buddies Kuya Andrew, Blogie, and Winston that I will do it during the Davao FAT 2009. And so March 14 came... judgment day. I went to Outland Adventure again, this time with more than 20 other bloggers... from Davao City, Manila, General Santos, and Cagayan de Oro. Chickening out for the second time was not an option anymore. Would have been too embarrassing. :( So there I was with the harness strapped on, walked the almost kilometer trek with my friends, and one by one my companions had the thrill of their lives. Some shrieked (*ehem* Mr. RP!), some were calm, some were more daring than others (HANA!). When it was my turn, there were only three from our group who were left with me: Jeff, Chattee, and Fritz. (The four of…

Nom Nom Noming at Lachi's

Because me and my cousins are camwhores and we wanted to embarass Gwing's bf Levi, we decided to make this video: HULOLZ! It features me, Kuya Andrew, Gwing, Marc, and LEVI EBDAO! Shot on location at our favorite restaurant Lachi's. :) Mind you this was not my idea. :-&

From Friends to…

Sometimes you think you have chemistry with a person but when the relationship develops from friendship to more than friendship... WEIRD LANG! People always say the best relationships are found or starts out with friendship. There's this guy you see... we've been friends for months and I have been quite closey-closey to him thinking he wasn't and wouldn't be interested in something more. But lately... things have been different. I don't usually read between the lines or assume things but this one's different. I know, definitely know, he's interested. And it's weirding me out. We've been fine, very much ok, more than fine as friends, as buddies. Bakit kasi eh... I really don't get how we got from there to here, from being friends to this awkward place we're in right now. My friend is saying it must be my weight loss. (unsure) Maybe I am not really mature when it comes to these things. You see... I'm the kind of girl who categorizes guys. On this corner are my guy friends. If you get close enough to me, you are a close guy friend with whom I will probably never have any romantic eklavus with. And on the other…

You Changed My Life

My cousin asked me to blog so here goes... The title suggests I watched the John Lloyd - Sarah movie. I did. And I can't think of a more creative title for this post. So... Whatever! I watched the movie coz 1) I love John Lloyd, 2) my bestfriend who idolizes Robin Padilla loves the movie so I got intrigued, and 3) I wanted to feel kilig even for just an hour or so. The movie is good and lives up to expectations. I don't get why it got an A though. The story is good, the lines were memorable, the direction, cinematography, and editing were ok. John Lloyd was adorable. He was cute, lovable, and made me believe he is all in love but confused and desired to please his family. He was good but there's nothing new or shocking to his performance. Sarah is surprisingly good. I didn't watch the first movie so her acting kinda shocked me. Her Laida is miles away from her Bituing Walang Ningning character (which I liked) but she delivered. Me thinks she can act well. The rest of the cast were good as well. Even the Laguna factory workers. What I really…

Life is Dull

Life is boring. It's full of work, disappointment and stress caused by work. Other than work, it's all DotA, poker, blogging, Plurk, and Facebook. In other words, I have been a boring geek. There have been guys, and some flirting. But those have been blah! Boys aren't able to commit. Mebbe not my time for love and romance. What I'm saying is I need something or someone new. I need to discover or try out something different. Something not work, not DotA or poker, not blogging or with my cousins. Definitely not a guy who says and does the right things but can't commit. I don't think I really need a boyfriend, just new people, and new stuff to be interested in. I don't know what I want or need, maybe that's part of the problem. I'm thinking of taking dance classes, something I have been wanting to do for a long time. Also thinking that maybe I should go speed dating again. Maybe I should go out with the guys who obviously like me, but don't interest me yet. Or maybe... You have any suggestions? I like my life now. Not as complicated as it was before. I get…
