Here I am, Saturday night with plenty of things to do and places I can go to. But I am working. This is how life has been. Lazy weekdays, hectic weekends.
To make matters worse, I had a fever last night. It was a terrible one. Spent the entire night alternately trying to sleep and going to the loo to pee. It wasn’t a cold night but I was having chills. I thought I was gonna be well enough this morning to attend class. But alas! I didn’t have the energy to stand up and go to class. Hours later, I received a message that I had missed a class with the Chef Gene Gonzales. /wrist
Around 2 pm, I woke up again. And decided I will go insane just staying inside the house. So here I am working my butt off even if I am coughing like crazy and making people think I will infect them with AH1N1.
This has been my life. Weekdays are spent doing chores and work tasks, blogging, and generally doing online stuff. The past week, I have taken time out from my work and poker routine to spend time with my cousins and I enjoyed it. We’ve been eating out. A lot. And have spent time bonding (aka GOSSIPING). I specially enjoyed our wine session talking about marriage, relationships, and politics. All the talk about relationships and marriage scared the crap out of me and made me re-think wanting to have a bf. But it was one of the most interesting conversations I have had in a while.
Weekends, meanwhile, are hectic. On Fridays, I prepare stuff for the weekend, and try to finish articles and posts for the week. Saturdays, I attend classes at the CACS. And most Saturdays, I have to attend or cover an event for my blogs or my weekly column. Times when I don’t have an event to go to, I spend the Saturday nights either with my classmates or my poker buddies. Drunken conversations are so much fun, I SWEAR!
Sundays, I finish my weekly article and attend the weekly tournaments at the poker club.
Mondays are most hectic for me. If I haven’t submitted yet, I start the day finishing my weekly article. After which I edit and upload photos for the websites and do weekly updates. The rest of the time, as with the other weekdays, I work on other tasks and chores.
People have always thought I spend time doing nothing. But this has been my life. Work, family, and friends.
It’s a nice picture. I would like to know you. Can we be a friend so that we can share what we know about our own country? Me from Indonesia
