Upon the prodding of Kuya Andrew I decided to try out Unilever‘s Clear Anti-Dandruff Shampoo. For good measure, I bought the Hair Fall Defense variant. Yes, I {used to} have dandruff, and my hair strands apparently don’t like my scalp very much.
The good news? The shampoo works. It significantly lessened my dandruff to almost none. I have tried other anti-dandruff shampoos. Either they didn’t work, or they had an unpleasant strong smell. Clear, meanwhile, has a nice scent.
The bad news? It does not work much to alleviate my hair fall problem. Not much to be noticeable anyway. My hair strands still break and fall. Also it is quite expensive. A 100 mL bottle costs more than PhP50. It’s cheaper than the strong anti-dandruff shampoos I’ve tried, but it’s much more expensive than other shampoo brands that I’ve tried.
Nonetheless, I think it’s worth its price. My hair is not limp or dry. It has a bouncy feel which I like.
Would I recommend it? Yes, if your goal is dandruff control, then, you simply must try Clear. Otherwise, stick to the less expensive shampoo brands.
{This is not a paid post. Just wanted to try out reviewing a product.}
ate ria.. why not make a commercial?
may cam naman (mobile phone)… sige na! palitan mo si Bea.. ang tanong.. sino ang ipapalit kay john?
Hmm. You said that you liked picking and pulling on your hair. I guess stopping that will solve the hair fall problem?
@migs: Let’s make a commercial!! Si Kuya Thon ang papalit kay John!
@Migs, Hmmm…. KAYA BA?! 😀
@Kuya, LOL! True, true…
The answer is CLEAR. Check lang kung american time ba talaga. ;D
lol..
I think stopping on certain hair styles would reduce hair fall problems. And also take on hair boosting elements found on most foods. Though clear is taking on widescreen acknowledgement, it isn’t the real solution to hair fall. There are no cure for hair fall. There are quite various reason why a person suffers such problem. One is health associated problem/disease. And the other is on hereditary.
