Present perfect: [has happened or is finished in the past and it has a connection to the present] have/has + participle + *(infinitive+ed/irregular form) ex: I have worked. ex: I have gone. Present perfect continuous: [action began in the past and is still happening. emphasis: length of time of an action] have/has + been + infinitive+ing ex: He has been going to the bar for years. ex: I have been smoking since fourteen. 🙂
