Tired… Stressed… ARGH!

I slept at around 3 am early today. I woke up at 11 am. I usually sleep for only 5 hours each night. Last night, I slept for approximately 8 hours. But instead of feeling energized, I woke up feeling tired and a bit down. Could it be the tons of work, problems, and very tight schedule I have? Probably... RAWRRR!!!

Philippine Science High School Hymn (English and Filipino Versions)

I have been reading a lot of Pisay the Movie reviews and I saw a blogpost by Infinite Insanity with lyrics to the PSHS Hymn. I studied at and graduated from the Mindanao Campus (now known as the Southern Mindanao Campus) here in the boondocks area of Davao City. But the hymn is same for all campuses... I thought I wouldn't remember how to sing the song... but as I read through the lyrics, I found myself singing (and I use that word loosely coz I can't really sing) along. Here's the PSHS Hymn in its original English form: PSHS Hymn by Mario Taguiwalo Philippine Science High Thou stands above with thy thoughts that lift And fit all thy sons with wings To lend us flight in the sowing of our gifts Oh, Philippine Science High Thy wisdom arms our youth As we reach for our dreams, as we strive for our goals As we search for the untarnished truth Philippine Science High The PSHS in us will grow And go as we wonder o'er The crests and troughs of the sea of life that flows Oh, Philippine Science High Thy light our beacon be In our path through the…

Aureus Solito's Pisay the Movie Gets Good Reviews

I have been blog surfing and read many reviews about Aureus Solito's Pisay the Movie. And I am so happy that the movie got good reviews. I especially like the review by Elena Dacanay, a Pisay alumna who currently teaches in Pisay. I good goosebumps (and tears almost came) while reading her summary and review of the movie. There's a more objective review by Oggs' Movie Thoughts. I WANNA WATCH IT! Mr. Solito, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE... release this film in Davao City!!! I will watch it at least three times, PROMISE! Sir Martin, another Pisay teacher, has a list of movie reviews by bloggers. To those who still don't know what the movie is about, it's Aureus Solito's (director of THE "Ang Pagdadalaga ni Maximo Oliveros) entry to Cinemalaya 2007. I have to movie's short description and summary somewhere in this blog. Coincidentally, I have a Pisay batchmate named Ariz Solito. Ala lang... geekiness... ALAVET! "Cream of the cream of the crop...", "best of the best!!!"

DoTA Boys and Their Emo Status Messages

One of the groups in my Yahoo Messenger is composed of guys I met through DoTA. These people are clumped under the group "dota boys." Most of the time, a lot of these guys are online. And I usually get a kick out of reading their very much emo status messages. Tonight I screencapped my YM to capture some of these emo messages. Look above... One says "It takes a lot of love." Another says "u made it clear when you said I just don't love you no more." LOL! Whoever said that guys are not emotional must not have met these DoTA boys. I'll try to capture more of these emo status messages in the future. ;)
