Brian McKnight's One Last Cry

This song is playing while I'm at a meeting at a local cafe. I'm not a fan of McKnight but I like this song. :) ONE LAST CRY Brian McKnight My shattered dreams and broken heart Are mending on the shelf I saw you holding hands, standing close to someone else Now I sit all alone wishing all my feeling was gone I gave my best to you, nothing for me to do But have one last cry Chorus: One last cry, before I leave it all behind I’ve gotta put you outta my mind this time Stop living a lie I guess I’m down to my last cry Cry...... I was here, you were there Guess we never could agree While the sun shines on you I need some love to rain on me Still I sit all alone, wishing all my feeling was gone Gotta get over you, nothing for me to do But have one last cry Chorus: One last cry, before I leave it all behind I’ve gotta put you outta my mind this time Stop living a lie I know I gotta be strong Cause round me life goes on and on and on And…

Me Going to Manila

I will be flying to Manila next week. YEY!!! But it's mostly going to be work, work, work. I wil be managing Team Nomets of Davao during the Asian Cyber Games. I will also be covering the event. We will be at the Mall of Asia for four (COUNT THEM... 1, 2, 3, 4) straight days just basically around boys... only a handful of them cute, interesting, and single. Well, probably, none of them are. I will also be spending time with a client and his employee, training them for Marketing and basic work and office ethics and practices. I might also meet up with some of my blogger friends and my cousins. YEY!!! :D It's gonna be a stressful, productive, and hopefully fun working vacation. ;)

A Visit to Museo Dabawenyo

Kuya Andrew, Migs, Dom, and I met up this afternoon to visit Museo Dabawenyo. It has been formally inaugurated but i has been open to the public for quite some time. The first floor is home to Indigenous Peoples' Gallery and the Moro Peoples' Gallery where artifacts and photos of the 5 Davao tribes are showcased. It also showcased the colorful arts, culture, and way of living of the people of Davao. The Moro Peoples' gallery was set against a nice mural by the Fine Arts students of a local college. The mural shows an idyllic beach side community in Davao. In the second floor is the Memorabilia Gallery which houses artifacts and information from various points of Davao City's history. My favorite part of the museum was the Nanay Soling Duterte Hall Modern Art Gallery. It contained interesting pieces of art that portrayed the different facets of Davao life and celebrated the tri-people culture of Davao. Tri-people pertains to the three groups of Davaoeños which have been living and working harmoniously: the Indigenous Peoples, the Christians, and the Muslims. The gallery also contained my favorite piece in the gallery, a very colorful, eye-catching, piece of art called Sarimanok: It…

The Ford GT

I don't drive... errr... but I went to the GoodYear Media Forum coz I was once an F1 fan and I used to cover and help organize drag races and car shows. PLUS, A FORD GT WOULD BE ON DISPLAY! And there it was... unveiled before our very eyes, on the Ballroom of the Marco Polo hotel, a Ford GT (one of only 2,00pimped with a set of GoodYear tires, only 14 inches from the ground... It was beautiful! The Ford GT was a delight to see. Would have loved it more if it were in another color though. :P Photos taken by Brian Bonguyan using a Canon Ixus 70 and by Ria using an N95.
