It's CHRISTMAS!!!

I'm tired and sleepy. I'm not feeling well. I still have tons to do. I am working at Basti's Brew right now, and I have to attend a "family reunion" at 7 pm. But I'm happy, happy, happy! I am thinking of getting my first-ever foot spa. Hmmm... Last night was not really eventful but it was delicious. The food was great. We had different kinds of cheeses and cold cuts. YUM! Then, we had puttanesca and seafood pasta, lechon, and ham. For dessert, I ate chocolate pie and chocolate ganache from Lachi's. Then, we had our exchange gifts. Greggy, Ate Ina's husband gave me a pair of red Slim Havaianas. It's so nice, I'm wearing them right now. I also received some cash from some of my titas. And a pair of green earrings from Luan. I also got to down a handful of glasses of beer which put to sleep when I arrived home at around 3 am. This morning, I went straight to Daddy and Mommy's house where I received a nice black handbag from Mommy, and a personalized keychain from Mae-mae. The handbag is exactly the size I want. YEY!!! I love it. Then me and…

Christmas is Almost Here

It's December 21, 2007, three days before Christmas Eve, four days before Christmas day. But I can't feel the Christmas spirit. I am doing a lot of things, thinking about a lot of problems, and rushing to beat numerous deadlines. As I grow older, Christmas and other holidays become more boring, and more stressful. When I was younger, Christmas used to fill me with excitement and joy. And no matter how sparse the celebration was, no matter how few the gifts I received, I was happy. Now, Christmas is becoming more and more stressful. I still haven't bought any gifts to give, or any clothes to wear to those parties. I still don't know which parties I am going to, when, where, with whom. I don't even know what I'll be doing on Christmas day. Still, there's a part of me that is excited. The other night's fun, fun night with some of my high school friends only made me more excited to spend more time with more of them. That can only mean more fun, alcohol, gossip, and photo ops. Then, there's the gifts. Ok so, I won't probably get any big gifts this year. And I won't get…

Not a Good Day… YET!

I woke up with a visit from my favorite friend... dysmenorrhea. I just spent about 30 minutes under the heat of the sun... waiting for a taxi cab while holding my bag, and my laptop bag. AMF! I arrived at the office and found out that DotAStrategy.com is down. :( But the day is not over yet... I'm eating at Zakoya later for the Davao Food Trip. And the meal is a Japanese Buffet. And it's for FREE!!! YUM! Then, I'm meeting up with some of my high school boys afterwards. Oh, yeah! Do I sound like I'm being fake? Because I am. HAHA!

P37 Lunch at Hanoi!

Me and Winston (pasmado si Kuya waiter) I just came from lunch with Winston at Hanoi Vietnamese Restaurant (actually I slept after lunch coz I have a headache but whatev!). We only paid PhP 37 for the Pomelo Salad, Bo Luc Lac, Chicken Curry, Pandan Jelly with Coconut Milk, Durian Pie, and Black Jelly with Coconut. Ang mura no? Just kidding! We paid only P37 because we used the PhP1,000 gift certificate that Blogie gave to Jayvee, and Jayvee gave to us. LABO! It was a delicious meal which I enjoyed very, very much!!! Photos courtesy of Winston. :D Hanoi is located along Camus Street in Davao City.

Another Free Dinner at Zakoya

As part of the Davao Bloggers' Food Trip, I was invited to Zakoya Japanese Restaurant next week to enjoy their dinner buffet. I am already excited to eat Tempura, California Maki, Unagi, and their other Japanese food. I have already tried out their buffet many, many times, but next week will be a different experience because I will be enjoying it with other bloggers. EXCITING!!!
