As a freelancer, there are days or weeks I am practically doing nothing. And there are also times when I have meetings and work even on weekends. This is a brief Saturday workday vlog.

Another work day but it’s a Saturday. Walked to the cafe in our street corner. Walked to the Stash Coffee Co in our street corner to meet up with my cousin. Then, we went to a consultation meeting nearby.

Kopi Lah Roti

Afterwards, my cousin had to do some online tasks so we headed to Kopi Lah Roti. Ever since they opened many years ago, they have been one of our go-to spots for working online and for hanging out. The place is cozy and the food and drinks are consistently good. I recommend the Kopi Bun, the Kopi with Milk, the Teh Tarik, and the Hot Chocolate.

Ristorante Spirale

Next, we had dinner at Ristorante Spirale at the Damosa IT Park. I haven’t eaten there in a while but I remember they have good pizza and pasta dishes. We order a Pizzata and a pasta dish. Unfortunately, the Pizzata was unavailable so we changed our order to a beef dish.

The Spaghetti Salcicce is as good as I remember it to be. Al dente pasta with a creamy tomato sauce and generous amounts of sausages.

The beef stew, Beef Bourguignon, I believe, was also good. Hearty and savory stew with tender, tasty beef. I think is not a regular menu item but a specialty of the week.

Mylk Cafe

Finally, we had coffee and dessert at Mylk Cafe in Marfori Heights. It was my first time there and I had their Spanish Granita. It’s basically a Spanish Latte but the coffee is in an ice cube form that slowly melts into the milk mixture. Cute idea. Will copy. We also had a S’mores Brownie. It was ok. I liked the texture but it was a bit too sweet for me. Probably, good with black coffee or black tea.
