Here is another workday vlog. We visited several Davao events places as research for a project. It was a rainy day but we managed to accomplish so much. Check out my last vlog for January 2024.

Salome’s Garden

The day started with a trip to Salome’s Garden. Before we checked out their events place, we had snacks at Borgy’s Burgers. We opted for the Twin Mini Cheeseburgers. This is a set of 2 of their cheeseburgers. Their burgers are quite huge so this set is ideal if you just want to eat a burger as a snack or a light meal. Ideally, good for 2 people since there are two pieces. Or you can eat one and save the other one to eat later.

Next, we checked their events place.

Davao Events Places

Aside from Salome’s Garden, we also visited La Herencia along Torres Street, Casa Vieja in Juna Subdivision, and Arcadia Events Center in Matina. All four had their pros and cons. Personally, my top pick is still Salome’s Garden for their impeccable food and the unique ambiance. But when it comes to convenience of location, La Herencia is a good choice.

La Creme

We dropped by La Creme for another round of snacks. They serve frozen yoghurt and soft serve ice cream. We opted for the frozen yoghurt. It was good but their frozen yoghurt melted quicker than others we have tried. But not bad. Would go back.

The American Backyard

Finally, we met up with our cousins and had dinner at The American Backyard at Casabella 2 in front of SM City Davao. I had the Seafood Marinara which was quite good. My cousins had burgers and the French Onion Soup. Everything we tried were good. We were intrigued by their Cheese Wheel Pasta but it was not available when we went there. So we planned to go back soon.
