Yes, SHINee is back. Before you start wondering when and why I suddenly became a KPop fan, let me tell you it is a long story that developed in just a few weeks. Will definitely share more about that soon. Meanwhile, let’s enjoy this SHINee comeback teaser “Marry You.”

Marry You Live Performance

SHINee recently held a digital event entitled “The Ringtone” and at the end of the show, they performed one of the songs from their 7th album.

Baby Cheese Taemin has been hinting about this song and some viewers even guessed the title during the broadcast.

It has been weeks since I first watched this and yes, I do watch it at least once day. The song is not yet available on Spotify but will be online soon. Watch their performance and tell me you were as enthralled as I am.

This is such a nice song. A bit slow but definitely a good showcase for the vocals of all four.

And their styling in this performance is just impeccable. Key always be serving. (Do not miss his Allure feature on turning 30 and his views on femininity and masculinity. [LINK])

Marry You is the so-called “Side B” track and already I am in love, as many others also are. Because how you could you not? Watch the LIVE PERFORMANCE and tell me if there is anything you should not like about it. Coz I tell you there is none.

2021 Comeback

After 14 years, SHINee still manages to make memorable comebacks that them alone can beat. Their new album is entitled “Don’t Call Me.” And LOL, if you know me, the title alone makes it good enough to be my new anthem.

They recently gave a sneak peek of the choreography during their Knowing Brothers guesting and OMG. It is topnotch. Watch the English subbed episode on Viu at this link: Knowing Brothers SHINee 2021.

I was seriously a bit anxious before their Knowing Brothers episode because what if Don’t Call Me would be a bit underwhelming? But the teaser exceeded expectations. And it lived up to how good “Marry You” is.

If entire the album is as good as I imagine it to be, SHINee is sure to be even bigger stars than they already are. 13 years as KPop idols and they continue to get even better.

The album will drop tonight at 6 pm or 7 pm KST. To be honest I am quite confused about the release time but will definitely be waiting and watching like a hawk to make sure I do not miss it.

My work then had a lot of Korean clients and I always enjoyed interacting with them even if I wasn’t a fan of KDrama and KPop back then. But yes, Ahjussi Brian Choi did influence me to listen to and be a fan of 2NE1. Kamsamhamnida.

This was in December 2010. I was actually taking a photo with the You’re Beautiful rabbit-pig and other merch but my friend who owned the store, inserted the SHINee album so I could post about it, as well. (Please do not laugh at my under eye highlighter. I am proud of that. HAHA!)

I was definitely not a fan then but I am most certainly one now. Just took a crash course of their MVs, discography, appearances in variety shows, and even fancams. And yes, I will definitely Marry You, SHINee. Seriously, SHINee is your idol’s idol… so pay attention.
