Dance Performance Made of Pure WIN!

Here’s a sample clip of one of the dance performances during the dinner after the Mindanao Bloggers Summit 2 here in General Santos City:

The performers are members Teatro Ambahanon of the Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges. It was really a very interesting performance. Skills wise and in terms of atheticism, they really gave a 100%. The choreography was artistic. Kinda shocking, but not too bad. Not for minors, though.

DIDYA ENJOY IT?! MORE TO COME SOON! πŸ˜›

  1. oi, na-miss namin ‘to ah! πŸ˜€ hehe. parang pang-indie-film. parang ito rin yung pinerform ng dance troupe sa modern dance competition sa T’nalak festival.

  2. There were 7 performances.. two of which received high awards during a competition at the CCP recently.

It was from a group called Teatro Amhanon…

Impak, those two acts will also be performed in Fukuoka, Japan this week.

    Asteeeeeeeeeeeeeg..

Sana makita niyo in personals para you can truly appreciate it..

Ate ria, nasan pa ang ibang vidz?

  3. The name of the group that performed was Teatro Ambahanon of the Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges.

Even if taga gensan ako, ’twas my first time also to see them perform. . . it was awesome! brokeback mountain nga ang dating.

Gusto ko nga mag blog about it – Sexuality in Dancing.

  4. wahaha karumaldumal un hah jajaja it was my first time actually na makapanood nun na confuse 2loy ako kung ano ung gusto ko gurl ba o voy? jaja joek…..

  5. Ok naman po ata eh.

I think we should look at it in a deeper sense. I think Mindanaoan bloggers are mature enough to see THROUGH N THROUGH.

Of course, when one’s narrow-minded, you’ll not be able to appreciate the art behind it, if you know what I mean.

    Cge, nakiki-share lang.

  6. The dancers of “Manoy” and “Sugilanun ug Awit sa Kahapunun” left for Fukoaka, Japan, a few days after MBS2 to perform there, together with their director, Bing CariΓ±o.

I hope that we, just like the Japanese should look beyond the gay themes of these dance pieces and focus on the fluidity and raw power of the dancers’ movements.

    Magandang Gensan po!

  7. i have to disagree that this is parang pang-gay bar. Their concept may be controversial pero naman, in real life, mas grabe naman ang nangyayari, di ba?

Personally, I give kudos to the dancers, their choreographers and their directors for giving their best..super galing! Hindi basta2 magpalabas ng emotion thru dance especially if you’re at that age. I can only imagine the super grabeng praktisan at pawisan na ginawa nila to come up with this amazing dance. I’m sure, they’ll make us proud out there internationally.

Thank you so much din sa MBS2 organizers for letting us see these dance numbers..napanganga man ako ng like 120 seconds at na-brain freeze kadali (wala ko kakuha ug pics for a few mins, in fairness).
