I AM SO TIREEED!
I slept at around 4 am after worrying about some details for today’s wedding. I woke up at 10 am, took a bath, prepared my arsenal, and swiftly left for Mommy’s house. Upon arriving, we went to Bliss Salon where I had first dibs at the hair and make up chair. Mommy had to buy a bible first. LOL! My make-up was… dark. It was definitely something new for me. Then, I had my hair ironed but it didn’t end up flat. After a while, my other cousins, Mommy, my other cousins, and a niece arrived. After my hair and make up were done, I went to Blu Gre to eat something. Then, I had my nails done. After we all had our new looks… me the gimikera, Marianne and Cha-cha the kontrabidas, and Mae-mae and Paigey the princesses… we went back to Mommy’s house to dress up. Did I already say I love my dress? I DO! I love, love, looove my dress by Jon of Limited.
When we arrived at the church, we took care of the processional, I read the first reading, took care of the offertory assignments, and took some photos. I also took care of telling people when to come up for their photos with the couple. The ceremony was short. It was not boring at all. The bride looked very, very, very beautiful… like she would be shooting for a magazine cover.
After the long photo taking process, me, Cha-cha, and Brian rushed to the reception venue where people were already inside the ballroom, instead of outside, having cocktails. So we improvised. Even if we weren’t able to strictly follow the prepared seating arrangement, everything went smoothly. Then, we had the entourage enter the ballroom, followed by the newlyweds. The program went smoothly. All thanks to my fabulous co-conspirators, Migs, Dhon, and Neil. The food by Grand Regal was good. The bridal cake by Boo-boo Maramba was FANTASTIC! And the giveaway cakes by Baby Cakes were delightful. The set-up by Edick Galacio was simple but not boring. Very… zen!
After the reception, we went to the bridal suite to chat a bit, unwind, and eat cake. YUUUM! I think I gained a pound by just eating all the cake.
I therefore, conclude, that the first wedding by EventsbyRia.com was a SUCCESS!
Now all I need… is a PR Agency in the Philippines to help spread the word about my new events coordination business.<
