Walang Pamagat

Sana may matutunan tayong lahat.

Interview Number 3

I have just finished interviewing Team Chill of Boyztrek. It was draining but also loads of fun. Chill is more light-hearted than Corpo. Fun defines their friendship and the way they play. Ding Lao, the team's mentor was with them. Ding brought with him BhoyMax Julakit, Topher Lopez, and Burnz Flores. Later on, Cocoy Villaroman and sixth man Louie Narshall also arrived. Only Yuki Perez was not available for the interview. Watch out for the complete write-up over at my DotA Blog.

Intal, Kramer and Escalona joing PBA Draft this Sunday

Despite the crisis in its leadership, it's a go for the PBA Rookie Draft this Sunday. And I'm excited coz former King Eagle JC Intal with his batchmates Doug Kramer, and Macky Escalona are joining the draft. I think among the three Intal is the one with the best chance of making a mark in the league. Nonetheless, good luck to the three!!!

Welcome to the World Sean Miguel!!!

Last Saturday, I had dinner with some paternal relatives coz Tio Boy and Tia Freda are in town. While having dinner, one of our topics was my cousin-in-law's pregnancy and imminent giving birth to our nephew. She was actually due to give birth last week but it didn't happen yet. My cousin (John) and his wife (Cherry) have already decided to name the baby Sean Cody. Cute name, right? But another cousin, Mae (John's younger sister) had the brilliant idea to change the second name to Miguel so the baby's name would be Sean Miguel. His nickname would then be Sean Mig, and his initials would be SMB. HAHA!!! Poor kid, di pa napapanganak... pinagkakaisahan na. This morning, my cousin/boss told me he could not pick me up to go to the flag ceremony together. Cherry was in labor. That really jolted me to wake up despite the lack of sleep. Tita Ria is excited!!! A few minutes ago, our cousin Cha-cha sent me an SMS "Lumabas na si Sean Mig :)" NICE! Congratulations to John and Cherry! Sean Mig, sensya na... you we're born into a family of pranksters... may lahing clown tayo eh. ;)

The Greatest Competitor

You know who the greatest competitor of single women is? I do, I do, I do. Nope, it's not vices, not basketball, video games, or the guy's barkada. The greatest competitor is dun dun dun dun... the ex!!! The bad thing is, you can't really compete fairly against somebody with whom the guy has memories, a "past" with. Yup, even if you're prettier, smarter, funnier, sexier, nicer.... the ex will (almost) always be the better person against which you will be compared to. More often than not, you will lose. Unless the ex is a really, really mean fugly biatch (and sometimes even if she is), it will be very hard to win over her and all those fond memories they have together. YUN YUN EH! (Nope, I'm not really talking about a certain experience I've had... just an observation.)
