Determined to Blog

Day 1 of the tournament ended at around 10:30 am. It was tiring but fun, fun, fun at the same time. Got to meet new people. It was actually kinda relaxed but it was a good learning experience. After the tournament, I was still very much awake no thanks to the two glasses (not cups) of coffee I had. So I decided I wanted to go out as it is Kadayawan after all. But the weather had other plans for me. So instead of forging ahead downtown to look for people to go out with, I picked up my laptop and came here to Kasagingan to blog about today's events. It was raining very hard and most streets are now under water. Nonetheless, I am now here, blogging. I'm still uploading photos and videos but the writing part is (I'm happy to say) over! Tomorrow, I shall bring this laptop to the tournament and blog, blog, blog. I hope... as I still have to take pictures, take down notes and other things during the tournament. It's a tiring job but I love it. ;)

My day so far

Slept at around 4 am... Woke up at around 9:30 am... Couldn't go back to sleep... Already at the office... Third day with not much sleep... Hungry... Tired... Thinking of too many things... Head pounding with pain... Back aching but I don't know why... NOHOOO!!!

Breakfast at Mam Bebs

...any time of the day. I'm lucky that Alleba's office is right above Mam Bebs. Mam Bebs is my aunt's bakery and refreshment parlor. And like Ate Aileen, I love Pinoy breakfast food. Actually I love all breakfast food in general. Anyway... I get to eat Pinoy breakfast meals any time of the day... for breakfast, for lunch, or for dinner courtesy of Mam Bebs (minsan even for merienda). The one in the picture above is their Tosilog (tocino + sinangag + itlog) which I had with half a cup of plain rice only, accompanied by a cup of coffee. YUM! The ones below are Mam Bebs' Tapsilog (beef tapa + sinangag + itlog) which I had with half a cup of sinangag, and Mam Beb's Melosilog (meat loaf + sinangag + itlog) which I am having right now only it's not with sinangag but with half a cup of plain rice only. Vocabulary: tocino - cured pork tapa - cured beef sinangag - garlic rice itlog - egg

If you say…

...are you (referring/talking to a married guy) sure you are not related to anybody here? I think I saw you with Ria once. (Not a direct quote but paraphrase of what was actually said.) Doesn't that imply that you think I am somehow related/involved with that married guy? The guy already said he is not related to anybody in the group and yet you ask that question. That line of questioning can only imply that you are doubting his honesty and you think there is something we are hiding. Doesn't that imply that you know how I and the guy look like?

Disclosure 2

Despite the rumors, the whispers, and the jokes... I am not dating a blogger or a DotA player. OK??? GETS?!!! I am not dating any of the people I hang out/work with. Actually, I am not dating anybody. Pero I am accepting applicants. ANUH?! Seriously though, napagtanto ko these past few days... that guys are really more chismoso and intrigero than girls. It's like I'm back in high school. Can't I just hang out/work with guys without anybody giving it any malice?
