Just Cried…

Kuya Andrew, our secretary Lani, and went to Kopi Roti for a brief coffee break. On the way back to the office we saw my mom's husband's vehicle. Lani pointed out the vehicle and said that my "Daddy" is on board it referring to my mom's husband. That irked me but I took it lightly. Then, she proceeded to say that I look like the guy. Then, I lost it. I suddenly cried spontaneously. I don't know why really. Probably because I've heard that before, telling me I look like him. And people telling me I don't look like my dad at all. I hate it. Writing about it is making me cry again. I don't know why I'm so emotional about this but I am.

No Water!!!

When I went home last night, I found a sign near the door of the bathroom: "No water on Friday from 8 am to 12 midnight (18 hours, in Ulas, Bangkal, Matina and Downtown). Please wake up early to take a bath. Para mabango." It made me laugh. Hehe... Then, I started to worry. I was already 2 am and there was going to be no water starting at 8 am. I only had a few hours to sleep. Nohooo... So today, I woke up at around 7 am, been at the office since 8 am. I am very tired, and sleepy!!! Knowing DCWD they only made that announcement to warn the people that water will be turned off in those areas for a short period within the 18 hours and not during the entire 18 hours, diba? Diba? Diba? SANA!!!

Flattered

Kuya Andrew finally made an entry for the Filipina Writing Contest. His entry is a feature on his five favorite Filipina bloggers. And he included me... HUWOW! I know, I know... he's my cousin and I might have gotten into his list just coz of that. But I doubt it. ANYHOOT... I'm proud to be among some of the bloggers I really, really, really admire: the Aileen Apolo, the Shari Cruz aka Misteryosa, the Janette Toral of Digital Filipino, and the Noemi Dado. Among the five mentioned (I thought he was going to make an uber long list of Filipina bloggers), I'm the least popular / influential / controversial. Pero ok lang... I know... maabot ko rin ang aking pangarap na maging bahaging ng Pinoy blogging principalia. Kidding! Kuya Andrew is usually very kuripot with giving flattering comments and praises especially when it comes to my blogs. He usually mentions my blogs to me only to remind me how much work I have to do, and how much I have to improve, so it gives great pleasure in knowing, he appreciates Queen Ria's efforts. To quote Ate Aileen, WARM, FUZZY FEELING!!!

I LOVE YOU RIA JOSE

That was the YM message I received from some guy I don't know. He added me because well, I don't know why. Apparently, he saw me playing DotA somewhere and he was attracted to me. He was creeping me out... so I never paid any attention to him. I would also ignore him. Tonight he sent me a message "I LOVE YOU RIA JOSE" in capital letters.... then logged out. ANUH?! WHO YOU BA? WHY YOU FC?!
