I am not too fond of commenting on other people's blogs unless I feel like I really, really have to say what I want to say. So when another commenter has already sufficiently said what I want to say, I don't comment anymore. When I don't fully understand what the entry is all about, I don't comment. When I feel like the entry and the issue is not worth the bother, I don't comment. When I think that too much has been said already and the issue is getting out of control, I usually don't comment. The point is I only comment when I think I can contribute something substantial to the discussion. I also never comment if I didn't read carefully the blog entry.
